Do you love animals and want to make a difference in the lives of ferrets? The Willamette Valley Ferret Shelter & Rescue welcomes volunteers who share our passion for providing care, comfort, and second chances to these curious, lovable creatures.

Volunteers play a vital role in everything we do — from daily feeding, cleaning, and socializing with the ferrets, to helping with events, fundraising, and education efforts. Whether you have a few hours a week or can assist occasionally, your time and compassion truly make a difference.

No prior ferret experience? No problem! We provide guidance and training to help you learn about ferret care and behavior. All that’s required is a willingness to help, a kind heart, and a love for animals.
